An Experience at the Terrasse du Petit Palais

A Special Moment at the Montreux Palace

Several visits to the Montreux Palace have already introduced this emblematic place on the Vaud Riviera. At each visit, the elegance of the building and its history continue to impress. The brunch (in French) remains a lovely memory, with the feeling of enjoying a timeless moment in an exceptional setting.

For this new evening, the destination is the Terrasse du Petit Palais, with a magnificent view of Lake Geneva. The evening begins with an original cocktail made with tequila, mezcal, cherry and citrus. This creation won second place in a world competition. A chef’s surprise around tuna then opens the meal. As a starter, heirloom tomatoes, basil and burratina offer a fresh and colourful plate. The beef carpaccio with truffle, capers, parmesan and rocket completes this first part. For the mains, grilled octopus with crispy panisse reveals lovely combinations. The octopus was, however, slightly overcooked. The spaghetti with clams, bottarga and lemon bring lovely freshness and a briny touch.

With the sun setting over Lake Geneva, the setting makes the evening particularly pleasant. To finish, the raspberry crème brûlée and the yuzu & Limoncello tiramisu perfectly conclude the meal. The tiramisu is a big favourite, thanks to its citrus notes. A lovely evening on the Terrasse du Petit Palais, in the heart of the Montreux Palace. An address to remember in Montreux. On the Riviera, La Villa Montreux (in French) also offers Mediterranean cuisine facing Lake Geneva.
