Amici ; Good to Know
The restaurant is often fully booked, and booking several weeks ahead is recommended. It is in the Cité district, a stone’s throw from the cathedral. Before dinner, a stroll through the cobbled lanes whets the appetite. To extend the evening, two bars are nearby. Vestibule plays the speakeasy card, Holy Monkey that of the tiki bar (both in French).
Amici and Its Traditional Desserts
To round off this trip to Italy, a little sweet touch is a must. Sweets remain a favourite area, after all. The choice is difficult and finally falls on a tiramisu and a cannolo. Nothing to fault, everything is perfectly executed. The magic note to end this meal.

Tiramisu and Cannolo, Two Italian Icons
These two desserts each tell the story of a region of Italy. Tiramisu comes from Veneto, where it appeared in the second half of the 20th century. Coffee-soaked biscuits, mascarpone cream and cocoa make it a global classic. The cannolo, for its part, is a Sicilian speciality. A tube of crisp fried pastry holds a sweetened ricotta cream. Chocolate chips or candied fruit often decorate it.
