Noz Chocolatier is a Lausanne shop whose homemade creations have delighted food lovers since 1992.
Noz Chocolatier
The Lausanne Chocolate Shop
Noz Chocolatier combines bakery and chocolate shop. Nicolas and Anne-Lise Noz opened their shop on Rue Marterey in 1992. Since then, their indulgent, authentic and homemade products have delighted Lausanne residents and far beyond. Like an anthill, the shop runs at full speed thanks to flawless know-how. The atmosphere is kind, almost family-like. Always on the lookout for new ideas, the couple has reinvented itself over the years. A way to win customers’ trust and keep an unshakeable reputation.

The Passion
Noz Chocolatier in Lausanne
In the shop’s basement, Nicolas Noz is busy in the chocolate workshop. Like a Willy Wonka in a more classic suit, he creates a truly artisanal range of chocolates. Sourcing is of high quality and the selection seems almost endless. Among the star products are the Prunoz, prunes coated in 49% chocolate. A treat that is simply irresistible. A fine collection of chocolate bars also highlights beans from responsible trade. Another surprising discovery: the Cigarinoz. They combine chocolate, single malt whisky and smoked Chinese tea. Travelling while tasting chocolate is only a small step away.

Limitless Creativity
In the shop, Anne-Lise Noz and her sales team welcome customers. Her creativity shines through in the packaging and the chocolate boxes with colourful ribbons. Even the displays are designed to showcase the confectionery. Each case is presented with taste, each box carefully thought out. Because before taste comes the visual. Behind the windows, a range of cakes is also a feast for the eyes. Chocolate or fruit, there is no shortage of choice. Stepping into this paradise of sweetness means forgetting the passing of time for a moment.

An Explosion of Flavours
Noz Chocolatier
A past internship with the company leaves a lasting memory: the passion and kindness that reign there. This enthusiastic know-how and limitless creativity remain as appealing as ever. Anne-Lise Noz’s creative energy sometimes calls for flawless logistics. But the result in the shop, throughout the year and during the holidays, never disappoints. Chocolate, generosity and altruism have mingled here for over thirty years. To discover other artisans, the selection of chocolate shops in Lausanne (in French) also holds lovely surprises. Every October, the Carac Rose (in French) also reinvents this Vaud classic to support breast cancer prevention.
