The artisanal business Citrolle offers unique liqueurs, syrups and jams.
Citrolle ; Liqueurs, Syrups and Jams
An Artisanal Business
In 2018, Elena and Piero, soon joined by Mauro, started producing limoncello. Passionate about cooking and authentic flavours, they quickly won over their loved ones. This success motivated them to increase production. Inspired by their Italian roots, they then created jams and syrups with the flavours of their homeland. Their creations also include Italico, a 100% natural bitter.

Their varied backgrounds bring complementary skills. Together, they founded Citrolle, combining creativity, artisanal know-how and entrepreneurial spirit. This complementarity shows in the harmonious management of production, planning and marketing.
Production in Step with the Seasons
Citrolle ; A Workshop in Mont-sur-Rolle
Based in Mont-sur-Rolle, the brand is much more than a small artisanal business. It was born from a shared passion for authentic flavours and solid teamwork. Each brings their expertise and enthusiasm, and this synergy can be felt in the quality of the products. Recipe development, production, management and sales all benefit from deep commitment and meticulous attention.

Production follows the rhythm of the seasons, a guarantee of freshness and authenticity. Creating several products makes optimal use of the fruit, without waste. The lab combines ingredient research and creativity. It favours untreated raw materials and, where possible, organic ones. The brand thus blends tradition and innovation.
Limoncello, a Liqueur from Southern Italy
Limoncello comes from the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento area. It is made by steeping lemon zest in alcohol. A sugar syrup then completes the recipe. The liqueur is served ice cold, as a digestif, at the end of the meal. It also flavours desserts and cocktails nicely. For a culinary journey to southern Italy, the article on L’Incontro (in French) takes you to Puglia.
The Flavours of Citrolle
Social media revealed this brand, whose packaging immediately catches the eye. A few exchanges and a visit to the workshop reveal a house with fine values and indulgent products. The visit offers a close look at the care taken at every stage of production. The team’s passion can be fully felt.

The tasting confirms that the brand’s reputation, still too discreet, is fully deserved. Liqueurs, syrups and jams prove to be of exceptional quality. Each flavour tells a story and offers a unique taste journey. Originally from southern Italy, limoncello is traditionally enjoyed well chilled, as a digestif. To extend the Italian journey, the Italian addresses in Lausanne (in French) also hold lovely surprises.
