Just a moment… Craving chocolate? Head to David l’instant chocolat, a remarkable chocolate shop in Vevey.
David l’instant chocolat
An Artisan Chocolate Shop in Vevey
In a previous life, David Pasquiet worked as a cook and pastry chef. This training gave him a refined sense of harmony between flavours and textures. Bold and passionate about chocolate, he dares to challenge conventions. His combinations are surprising, sometimes unlikely, but always captivating. Just taste the Las Lomas with red Kampot pepper to be convinced. The fleur de sel and caramel almonds, the ganache bonbons or the Chobricot prove it further. In Vevey, David Pasquiet is a true chocolate magician.

Gourmet Chocolate and Grands Crus
David l’instant chocolat ; From Cocoa Tree to Bar
The chocolate adventure began in 2005. From the outset, one priority has guided every creation: to offer the best possible quality. It all starts with a rigorous selection of raw materials. The house works in particular with Grand Cru chocolates renowned for their excellence, such as Maracaibo and Criolait. David has since taken a new step: he has developed his own couverture chocolate.
The approach favours human ties all along the chain, from grower to consumer. In the world of chocolate, two worlds meet: the grower in tropical regions and the consumer in industrialised countries. David’s ambition: to bring these two worlds as close together as possible.

David l’instant chocolat ; Where Art Meets Madness
Stepping into David’s chocolate shop in Vevey is like going through the looking-glass in Alice in Wonderland. No white rabbit here, but chocolate creations with surprising shapes. On one side of the room, slabs, gift boxes and small gourmet bags line up. On the other, sculptures and bars form a singular match. At the heart of the shop stands a display of ganaches with unexpected flavours. Each is born from one-of-a-kind aroma pairings. True craftsmanship, worthy of a jeweller cutting diamonds. On every visit, you feel as if you are wandering through an art gallery.

A Vevey address not to be missed, also found in Crans-Montana and Sion. A chance to dive into David’s phantasmagorical world and enjoy his chocolate creations with delight. In Vevey, Les Ateliers (in French) delights as a brasserie. Chaplin’s World (in French) rounds off the day perfectly.
