The Brand’s Story

In a world where sustainability matters, True Gum innovates in the chewing gum world. Since 2017, the Danish brand has combined taste and respect for the planet. It all began with two flatmates, Peter Regnersgaard and Morten Ebdrup. While sharing a pack of chewing gum, they discovered that most contain a plastic base. Jacob Motzfeldt and Zabrina Ziegler then joined the adventure. Together, they created a natural, vegan and biodegradable alternative. Production takes place in a small factory powered by green energy, near Copenhagen. Under the True Company banner, the brand also offers other natural snacks.

Natural Ingredients

A Responsible Commitment

The product stands out for its natural composition. Its base is chicle, a sap from the sapodilla tree of Central America. Chicleros harvest this resin without felling the trees. Acacia gum and vegetable glycerine complete the recipe. For sweetness, xylitol and stevia replace sugar. Free from aspartame, the flavours remain authentic and natural. The plastic-free packaging is also biodegradable. This approach limits waste and street pollution.
