In Geneva, the Pastry Week brings pastry chefs together around ephemeral, indulgent and charitable creations.
Pastry Week ; Creative Pastry
Food lovers and the curious gather in spring around brand-new desserts. This festival puts Geneva’s pastry chefs in the spotlight.
An Event by PR & Co
Organised by the communications agency PR & Co, the Pastry Week celebrates Geneva’s pastry creativity. For two weeks, renowned chefs devise brand-new desserts in their establishments. Each edition revolves around a theme. With “Sweet Memories”, the chefs revisit pastries inspired by their childhood memories. The theme “Hidden Treasures” then invites surprise. Each creation then reveals a hidden heart, an original texture or a subtle blend of flavours.

Two Weeks of Pastry Talent
For two weeks, Geneva’s shop windows fill with ephemeral creations. Grand hotels and artisanal pastry shops compete in boldness.
Pastry Week ; An Ephemeral Showcase of Know-How
Through the Pastry Week, pastry chefs express all their creativity. Their original, ephemeral and surprising desserts reveal a great sense of detail. The public thus discovers unique creations, offered exclusively during the event. Participants include Michaël Perrichon of the Mandarin Oriental and Lyece Major of the Four Seasons. Christophe Renou of the Renou pastry shops and Alexis Calcagno of the Bristol also join the adventure. Yohan Coiffard of Tout Chocolat (in French) and Maxime Mesbauer of the Guillaume Bichet pastry shop complete this selection. A journalist for Gault&Millau and blogger on Choisis ton resto, Nouhad Monpays takes on the role of ambassador.

Pastry Week ; An Indulgent and Charitable Event
Each dessert tasted also benefits a local cause. Generosity thus finds its way onto the plate.
A Committed Edition for the Bioparc de Genève
Beyond the culinary experience, the event supports committed and responsible projects. Beneficiaries include Rêves Suisse, which fulfils the wishes of children who are ill or living with a disability. The event also supports the Bioparc de Genève. The park works for biodiversity through conservation, research, awareness and animal-assisted therapy. For each pastry sold, two francs go to the beneficiary association. Each dessert thus contributes to meaningful initiatives.

Indulgence in the Service of Others
Between aesthetics, flavours and commitment, the event ticks every box. The outcome is as indulgent as it is generous.
Pastry Week ; An Indulgent Review
After following one edition from afar, La Route de Ben attends the press conference of the next. Each pastry creation outdoes the previous one. For a sweet lover who knows some of the chefs, the experience is thoroughly delightful. Supporting an association strengthens the spirit of these gourmet weeks. Eyes, palate and heart all get their share. The next edition is eagerly awaited. In Geneva, the Hôtel d’Angleterre afternoon tea (in French) happily extends these sweet moments. The light meringues of Aux Merveilleux de Fred (in French) also delight Geneva’s sweet tooths.
