The Sweet Sage ; A Bucolic Pastry Shop in Lausanne
Sweet Treats in the Rôtillon
This tea room has become a gourmet landmark in Lausanne. It combines the art of high-end pastry with wellbeing, for an exceptional sensory experience. Each artisan pastry is made with passion by Alix Marin and Thibaut Honajzer. The latter notably served as head pastry chef at Anne-Sophie Pic’s restaurant at the Beau-Rivage Palace (in French). The creations draw on aromatic plants, as the name of the house suggests.
The range changes with the seasons, with ever more refined and elegant creations. The warm, minimalist setting reflects attention to the smallest detail. The glass counter showcases chocolate bars, macarons and cookies, alongside a few homemade cakes. A must-visit address for lovers of refined sweets.

The Sweet Sage ; A Stroll in the Rôtillon
The Rôtillon is one of Lausanne’s oldest districts. Long neglected, it has been fully renovated and now lives to the rhythm of its shops and terraces. It links the Flon to the Cité through a maze of lanes and stairs. After a pastry, a walk towards the Flon is a must. The district is also home to the Cartell (in French) poster studio and many gourmet addresses.
