One Wednesday at the end of the day, it is off from Lausanne to Jongny. The journey takes only about twenty minutes by car. After a winding road above Vevey, here is the hotel gate. Keys collected at reception, a surprise awaits the travellers. The room is not in the hotel, but in a private villa. Window open, the whole of Lake Geneva unfolds before your eyes. And not a cloud on the horizon: perfect for taking a few photos and fully enjoying the view.

Bags dropped off, it is off to the restaurant on foot. With such lovely weather, it is hard to refuse the table offered on the terrace.

On the terrace, facing the park, the team tells the story of the restaurant, menu in hand. Here, everything is local, for authentic cuisine. The menu therefore changes often, with the seasons. With a three-course menu, everything is designed for eating well. The wine pairs perfectly with the meal, and the list highlights Lavaux wines. The restaurant also has a magnificent glass-walled cellar, filled with quality bottles, visible to all.

A Gourmet Breakfast

After a good meal and a delicious dessert, it is time to fall into the arms of Morpheus. A few steps uphill lead to the villa room. Once under the covers, sleep comes very quickly.

The next day, a few rays of sunshine accompany the awakening. Window open, the view is as splendid as ever. Off to the terrace for breakfast. A lovely buffet awaits: croissants, savoury dishes and a fine range of drinks. Plate in hand, it is time for a little gourmet marathon! Everything looks tempting. For sweet lovers, the plaited loaf and the croissants are a must. A light breeze, a calm atmosphere and attentive staff: everything is perfect.

After this indulgent breakfast, it is time to discover the hotel. A stroll through the park is the perfect start. Between mountains, lake and forest, every viewpoint is breathtaking.
